The awesome folks at Disney-Hyperion are going to be shipping me out to Utah to hang out at the American Booksellers Association winter conference thing-a-ma-jig for the next few days. 

I've never really been to a conference before, so I don't really know what I'm supposed to do, but I got my lucky sweater packed and I'm ready to schmooze. 

So, I'm gonna try to do a running commentary from the weekend with updates and pictures and stuff...unless I get distracted by the hospitality suite or the beautiful sights in Salt Lake City. 

Anyway, I'm totally gonna write about this at some point or another. 

And while we're on the subject, does anyone have any ideas for fun things to do in Salt Lake City?

Salt Lake? No sorry, no ideas. However Park City is like a 45 min drive away and you could go snowboarding. Not sure if that's your thing but they have the best snow ever.

Become Mormon??? Hope that doesn't offend anyone out there. On second thought, I doubt any mormons will be reading Sophomore Undercover... not that your novel is unappealing to Mormons, it's just... nevermind.

Swing over to Park City if you get a chance. Decent bars, hangouts, etc. And wear a jacket! Your beard should come in handy (for warmth) too.

I suggest you attempt to at least hook up with a mormon chick. You know what to expect going in and if you score you will feel like a king.

Not to mention the fact that 87.6% of all mormons 16-25 are totally smoking hot. After that, they have popped out a couple kids and are heading downhill.

I recommend going after the ones in college. If they are going to experiment, why not do it with a dashing young man like youself?
