I've been thinking about reviews quite a bit the last few days.  

And this clip from Spinal Tap helped put things into perspective.

ben, you should join authorsnow.com.

why? because it's striving to be the largest online collaboration of published and soon to be published childrens writers and illustrators on the web. plus, it's totally free and will only increase exposure for your book.

and we're nearing 100 authors and we want to have 100 authors. i don't know why, 100 is just one of those numbers. you know?

and let's not forget that it would make my beard happy. my beard has been a little sad lately and just think of how great it would feel to make a difference in its life.

Okay, that's enough of that now.

By decree of dixienguyen.com, Chris is no longer the creepy guy with the beard fixation. Chris is the fine fellow who I think might be Christopher Moore because I can't think of any other writers named Chris with a beard.

But even if he isn't Christopher Moore, thanks for stopping by and commenting, Chris. You are a valued member of the dixienguyen.com fan base. All of twelve of you.

The name "chris" is not very unique. I can see how there can be some confusion with some overlap. I suggest one of you posters add a few extra numerical digits to the end of your "handle". An example could be:

"chris1983"
or
"chris1987"

Depending on your date of birth. You could also choose numbers which illude to your hobbies:

"chris420"
or
"chris6969"

Another option would be to add your last name like

"chris webber"
or
"chris christopherson"

there are so many possibilities. leaving this great community should really be the last resort. I did an IP cross check and found that there is somone impersonating "monica". This is the same person who posts as "Daniel J Fitzgerald" and "wheeler" and "misterwheeler". I am working with our programer to ban this "character". He really only seems to be here to cause problems for Mr. Esch and dixienguyen.com.

Just so everyone is clear,

dixienguyen.com has a very strict stance against identity theft. If somebody is stealing identities, kindly knock that crap off.

For god's sake, Chris just threatened not to post anymore. Chris! He's one of the MVP's of the comment section. Let's show the man the respect he deserves.

Well, just to be clear myself, I am all for identity theft that involves social security numbers, credit cards, and bank accounts. I mean, this is America, so whatever you can do to get ahead in life financially is absolutely fair game.

But stealing blogging identities is just not cool. Really, that's going below the belt.

I seek clarification: Are you saying that this identity thief is DJ Fitz or that he has, on occasion, pretended to be DJ Fitz, he of the cat joke book?

Because if the original DJ Fitz is a fugazi, I think I'm going to off myself (or maybe just eat a bowl of Superman ice cream). That guy provided me with minutes of entertainment and he damn well better be real.

As far as i can tell, all the comments attributed to me, are mine. I've also commented on here from another computer. (tho.. um.. not while at work, that would be ..um...wrong. a waste of the govt's hard earned money. tho its the cdn govt, tho... anyway.) i've not been impersonated, tho that's happened to me before. On other, less reputable websites.
